Spiritual Check-Up

Vol. 2 Issue 9-October

What’s going on family and friends? I hope you look forward to the holiday season that is almost around the corner. Can you believe it that we are literally 8 weeks away from entering into the year 2015. I personally can’t believe how quick this year went. Usually around this time is when I start to reflect and ask myself a couple of questions to evaluate. I ask myself, what did I do this year that was significant? Who did I encounter, that made a difference in my life? How have I grown spiritually in my walk with God? What will I continue next year and what will I do different the next year? Questions, questions, questions! Indeed, I wonder about a lot of things, but I consider them good things that help me stay on a good track.

Something I always say is the following: We take the time hopefully to get our physical health checks, so why not do a spiritual health check to see if you are doing well or if you need to feed yourself more. There is always opportunity to grow into a better man or woman of God.
Here at crossover church there are constantly different opportunities presented to the congregation that will help you take part in and build relationships over fellowship, while you take initiative to invest in your spiritual growth. Most of the times the events are FREE at Crossover Church and the major events such as conferences that cost money are affordable.

There are three things I like to give you as you start reflecting on your spiritual health: Your Time, Talent and your Treasure.
1. What have I done with my time in 2014? Did I spent it well or did I waste it?
2. Did I use my talents and gifts for God in service?
3. Have I given my treasures first to God and then everything else? Or the other way around?

In closing, stay well and if you are led to support me financially please support now at the support link, as I will be grateful for your gift.

And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
