As the month of October is coming to an end and the Fall season is starting, I find myself reflecting on what a year we had. A year of change, a year of growth and a year of being more creative.
As a follower of Christ we get to run the race God gives each on of us. This race is a race of spiritual growth and relational growth. Learning how to love God and others more and better just like Jesus did.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
I want to propose for you to look into the mirror today. You will be reminded that there is only one of you. No one like you with the same finger print. God made you with the purpose to be unique, to know Him and to live for Him. You my friend have a race to run 🏃♀️ that only was meant for you. The plans God has for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Do not compare yourself to someone else’s their career, education, calling or success. By all means learn from others and get inspired by others, but understand that your walk is for you to be walked alongside other believers who also are running their race.

Pouring into the lives of young adults
A new addition to my race that I have discovered recently more and more this year is that God is giving me a heart for young adults who come right out of high school or college. The ministry of Christafari is growing and new members have come in over the last year who are all early twenties. In my alone time with God I have come to ask God how can I be of service to those who are younger than me and His answer was simple: Love them with My love and teach them with My Word!
That’s why I am starting a bible and book study with our young women in Christafari. We will study the book Captivating by Stasi and John Eldredge.
